Description

This film tells about how labor migrants from Kyrgyzstan go to Russia for a better life, but become mercenaries of the Wagner PMC and die in the war in Ukraine.

My role

Being executive producer and screenwriter for this film challenged me in many ways. First of all, we had to thoroughly organise deployment of our team members to Kyrgyzstan to keep them safe. After that I’ve faced a task to create a screenplay out of a huge amount of filming materials, working closely with my colleague. During this process we supported each other in a way to work both effectively and comfortably.
